Heard that the piece of Connemara Estate land between Setia EcoHill & EcoEmas was bought over by Ecoworld to develop into Eco Gardens. http://ecoworld.my/developments/ Not sure when will it start to develop the Eco Gardens Semenyih?

Rock crusher of this quarry is located less than 100M from 1 Jalan Sunway 5/7, Bdr. Sunway Semenyih. Law says it must be at least 500M distance. MACC must investigate this!

UNMC should buy over and build more student apartments and amenities as current facilities are bursting at its seams, in view of the big increase in student population
  • Univillage Semenyih, ALIBABA (guest) wrote 11 years ago:
If you have money, it would wise to buy a unit here. Always good demand as many students from UNMC (University Nottingham Malaysia Campus) will rent the purposed built apartments. The UNMC is just across the road. Also, UTAR/TARC has bought up a large piece of land next to this Univillage, for their future expansion.

The Selangor Government must close down this quarry as it is located too near to the houses! The rock blasting can even trigger my car alarm, the noise of the rock crusher is noisy and dusty. The stupid lorry drivers sounded their horns like crazy. Hanson Quarry is part of MPKJ and JAS's payroll, no action is ever taken. Save Semenyih, close down quarries and semenyih recycle energy sdn bhd.

My daughter is studying in this place..really beautiful and nice campus. Fees are quite high but academic standards are high too..much better than our local public universities. All courses are taught in English and the Malaysian government send many of their bright students here to get a good UK education. My daughter is here on a Malaysian Public Service Department scholarship, and she was aslo awarded a grant(quite a handsome sum)from a UK based foundation. I visit the campus regularly and is really impressed with its set-up.

They should be made to move out as the environment here is more suited for a university town..not a dusty and noisy timber processing factory!

Very pleasant houses and comfortable too. However the operators of this rented serviced rooms/houses have partitioned the rooms to be a tad too small...more profits, I guess! The students staying here are quite cosmopolitan as they come from many different countries.

Lots of students use this bridge daily to go to and from the beautiful and idyllic University Nottingham campus to their rented rooms/houses.
